       True Nandocas make life happen. They, like the 15th Century Portuguese Explorers, believe in faith, justice and good luck, always believing that if you can dream it you can do it.        "100 percent" is not only a way of doing things, it also become a saying amongst Nandocas. To acknowledge that you fully understand a fellow Nandocas one would say "100 percent".
       While it is difficult to describe the intangible essence of Nando's, the Afrikaans word "GEES", which means ‘spirit', has been adopted by Nandocas to describe the Nando's ‘go for it' attitude that drives everyone. When Nando's employs someone new, the question is always asked “does he or she have "GEES"
